Applies educational theories, principles, and innovative strategies to advance clinical practice and job performance in an effective and efficient manner. Plans and implements educational programs based on quality improvement outcomes and joint planning for all employees. Coordinates education resources and serves as a leader for assigned departments/programs. This position primarily serves new graduate registered nurses and Academy Programs.EDUCATION:
Required - Graduate of an RN Educational Program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Masters of Science in Nursing degree required
Preferred - in Nursing EducationEXPERIENCE:
Required - Minimum three years RN clinical practice.
Preferred - Experience in coordinating system-wide programs preferred. Extensive experience in working with new graduate nurses preferred.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Required - Current, valid North Carolina Registered Nurse License.
Preferred - Professional Certification in Nursing Education or Staff Development strongly encouraged.
