LOCATION: Medical Arts and Cancer Center, ARMC-CLINIC-OPEN DOOR
CITY: Burlington, NC

JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: Includes 2 evenings clinics per week and some Sat hours | On Call: No

JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of Open Door Clinic. They will be responsible for creating goals, developing a budget, leading fundraising efforts, securing external funding, administering grants, managing Open Door staff, and evaluating and revising programs and services. Appointed by the Open Door Board of Directors, the Program Manager collaborates with the Board and partners to accomplish its mission: free healthcare services with dignity, professionalism and concern for the indigent and uninsured residents of Alamance County. The Program Manager will have an awareness of the importance of reducing barriers to healthcare, decreasing health disparities and increasing health equity. The Program Manager of Open Door Clinic functions as the Executive Director as outlined in the agency bylaws.

EDUCATION:

Required:
Associate's Degree
H.S. Diploma and the equivalent of 5 years experience in healthcare administration may be considered

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:

Required:
Minimum of 2 years management level experience in healthcare
Grant-writing, fund-raising, budget and management of employees required
Minimum of 5 years of safety net healthcare management

Preferred:
Knowledge of Alamance County and existing relationships with key stakeholders in local healthcare and human service agencies
Experience working with a Board of Directors

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Required:
Valid Driver's License | If driving Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and MVR must be approved by Risk Management.

Preferred:
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) through Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) (requires BA)
