JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No | FTE: 0.6 (24 hours/week) | Schedule: Monday-Friday 3 days/week 9:00am-5:30pm | On Call: No
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing direct patient care in the Cath Lab Holding Area as a fully functioning member of the multidisciplinary team. In addition, a nurse in this position will provide high quality, cost-effective patient care pre and post procedure to patients from all areas of operations in the Invasive Cardiovascular Labs, through assessment, evaluation, and intervention/follow up.
EDUCATION:
Required:
Graduate of RN Accredited Education Program; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred in accordance with Cone Health's Policy for BSN attainment.
A BSN degree in progress with defined graduation date will be considered
Preferred:
Graduate of an Accredited BSN program.
Graduate of a School of Nursing. BSN required or with approval of the hiring manager, experienced RN's with an AD or Diploma with an active plan to obtain their BSN within four years from date of hire may be considered
EXPERIENCE: Required:
Cardiac Specialty experience.
2 years of Telemetry experience.
Preferred:
Telemetry experience
Cardiac Specialty Experience
Critical Care Experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Current, Unencumbered North Carolina/Compact State Registered Nurse License.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
A BSN degree in progress with defined graduation date will be considered.
If in a position prior to Cone Health's BSN policy change will be grandfathered into position with current level of nursing education.
Preferred:
Graduate of an Accredited BSN program.
American Heart Association Health Care Provider required (ACLS to be completed within 6 months of hire).
