The Orthopedic unit at Alamance Regional has a distinctionof numerous awards, including America's top 100 Orthopedic Surgeries, Highperforming in Hip and Knee replacement and is recognized in the GreaterBurlington area for Orthopedic Trauma. The patient population is very diverseand has a wide range of individual and special needs. The unit consists of 30private beds. In addition to orthopedicpatients there is co support for medical patients creating a "melting pot" fora variety of patient populations.

Assesses,plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, delegates, supervises andcoordinates the care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatricpatients as prescribed within the parameters of the NC Nurse PracticeAct. EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing BSN as determined by offerletter EXPERIENCE:
Required: New RN Graduates: Acceptance into Cone Health New Graduate program orcompletion of an acute care new graduate program.
Preferred: Experienced RN: One year of Acute Care RN experience is preferred. Hiringleader may consider other RN experience at their discretion. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIRED
RN| Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderPREFERRED
Thefollowing certifications are preferred and may be required within a certaintimeframe of hire as defined by the specific nursing unit.
AdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS)
PediatricAdvanced Life Support (PALS)
NeonatalResuscitation Program (NRP)
