The Social Innovation Design Thinking Program Manager leads the development and implementation of an equitable, inclusive process to design human services (such as housing and healthy food access) to successfully achieve improved health outcomes. This position is responsible for end-to-end charge of the program. The position involves:
• Coordinating projects and resource management
• Stakeholder engagement and communications
• Program financial management
• Reporting and documentation of insights and process
A strong understanding of project management and facilitating local collaborative networks is essential.EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelors of Public Health, Social Work, Design or other applicable degree such as Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Innovation, Design or Education.
Preferred: Master of Public Health and/or Master of Social Work, Masters degree in applied design, administration or social science with coursework in human-centered design.EXPERIENCE:
Required: 3 years of experience in organizing and/or serving in community-based programs in health promotion and human services. Open to broadening experience in social innovation and applied design, with applicable community experience to make use of these skills.
Preferred: 5 years of experience in organizing and/or serving in community-based programs in health promotion and human services.
