JOB DETAILS: Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm | On Call: NO
JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager for Quality Improvement, the Quality Improvement Facilitator (QIF) will be responsible for serving as an internal consultant to hospital management, staff, and physicians in the areas of process and operations improvement, industry best practice research, performance monitoring, resource allocation, and statistical analysis.
This role will support the continuum of care work across the system.
EDUCATION: Required:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering, Healthcare or Business Administration, Bachelors of Science in Nursing or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training or certification.
Preferred:
Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of experience leading teams using Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management or other process improvement methodology. Prior process improvement experience in health care or other service industry required. Prior experience developing presentations and public speaking is required. Demonstrated experience in understanding and working to modify system processes.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIRED
Drivers License | Valid Drivers License
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, or Project Management certification from a nationally-recognized organization. For BSN degree: Current, valid North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
