Master's Degree required from accredited NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant ProgramEXPERIENCE:
1 year clinical experience specific to practice as a NP or PApreferredLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC
DEA LicenseESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Communicates professionally,compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referringphysicians.
Provides appropriate patient assessment andestablishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to beappropriate.
Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care,medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact thepractice for emergent care.
Responds quickly and professionally to emergent caredemands, family concerns and nursing questions.
Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data..
Uses all electronic and computerized resources toprovide timely and accurate patient care.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
