Assesses, plans,implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, delegates, supervises andcoordinates the care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatricpatients as prescribed within the parameters of the NC Nurse PracticeAct. EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelorof Science in Nursing or actively pursuing BSN as determined by offer letterEXPERIENCE:
Required: New RNGraduates: Acceptance into Cone Health New Graduate program or completion of anacute care new graduate program.
Preferred: Experienced RN: One year of Acute Care RNexperience is preferred. Hiring leader may consider other RN experience attheir discretion. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
RN | Registered Nurselicensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
The followingcertifications are preferred and may be required within a certain timeframe ofhire as defined by the specific nursing unit.
Advanced Cardiac LifeSupport (ACLS)
Pediatric AdvancedLife Support (PALS)
Neonatal ResuscitationProgram (NRP)
Critical CareRegistered Nurse (CCRN)
Safe Training andResponsible Restraints (STARR)
For elink RN's only: CCRN certification preferred upon hire or required within 12 months of hiredate.
