LOCATION: Alamance Regional Medical Center, ARMC-Adult Behavioral Medicine
CITY: Burlington
JOB DETAILS: Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday, some weekends and nights | On Call: YES
JOB SUMMARY: Plans, integrates, controls and evaluates human, material and fiscal resources required to provide patient care in specific departments. Provides leadership in establishing standards, goals, and direction. Facilitates, coordinates, and manages staff, material, and financial resources to achieve patient outcomes/care and to promote professional development/practice of staff. Incorporates the Nursing Department philosophy into leadership and clinical practice. Ensures implementation of departmental and department specific patient care standards and nurse competencies. This position serves the following patient age categories: neonatal, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
EDUCATION: Bachelors, Nursing, Required
Masters, Healthcare Related Field, Required
Graduate of RN educational program required.
Master's degree in progress may be considered.
EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 3 years progressive leadership experience
Preferred: Prior management experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIRED
RN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
