Exempt: No | FTE: 0.6 (24 hours/week) | Schedule: 12 HOUR NIGHTS, 7PM-7AM AND 3PM-3AM | On Call: NOJOB SUMMARY:
Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritized, and coordinates the care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to treatment protocols in accordance with NCCEP protocols set forth by the N. C. Office of EMS. Work may also involve driving and maintain an emergency medical vehicle as needed.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Science or health-related field EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years EMS paramedic level or critical care transport experience
Relief Paramedics: 5 years of EMS paramedic level experience and 1 year of critical care transport experience
Paramedic III or Critical Care Paramedic: Must meet and maintain annual requirements per the Professional Paramedic Advancement Program
Prior critical care transport experience LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Current valid NC EMT-Paramedic certification, verified through EMS Performance Improvement Center - Continuum
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
ACLS | Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Valid, licensed driver for a minimum of 5 years and hold a current valid driver's license with good driving history. MVR must be approved by Risk Management. Must complete Emergency Vehicle driving course if not already done.
PALS, TNCC or PHTLS or ITLS or TPATC, ENPC or PITLS, and NRP
National certification by BCCTPC in FP-C or CCP-C
