Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes,delegates, supervises and coordinates the care of neonatal, pediatric,adolescent, adult, geriatric patients as prescribed within the parameters ofthe NC Nurse Practice Act. EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or activelypursuing BSN as determined by offer letterEXPERIENCE:
Required: New RN Graduates: Acceptance into Cone HealthNew Graduate program or completion of an acute care new graduate program.
Preferred: Experienced RN: One year of Acute Care RN experience is preferred. Hiringleader may consider other RN experience at their discretion. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
RN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compactstate.
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
The following certifications are preferred and may be requiredwithin a certain timeframe of hire as defined by the specific nursing unit.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
Safe Training and Responsible Restraints (STARR)
For elink RN's only: CCRN certification preferred uponhire or required within 12 months of hire date.
