The Enterprise Analytics Application Developer is a developer focused on data visualization on the Analytics Application Development team within the Cone Health Enterprise Analytics department. The Enterprise Analytics Application Developer is responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting automated data visualizations (applications, dashboards, and reports). This work will be performed in accordance with enterprise standards, industry best practices, and with the expectation of fully meeting customer requirements.
Successful performance of this role is demonstrated by the timely completion of all assigned project goals, which contribute to the overall provision of quality, efficient and effective analytic solutions. These solutions will support the data-driven decision making efforts required for delivering excellent, cost-controlled patient care across the continuum. In addition, this position promotes high standards in regards to effective departmental service and customer service.
What this role is not: Data analysis using Excel, writing database queries and manually exporting the data, creating simple reports, building non-automated solutions that require routine manual intervention.EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics or other computer-related field.EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of experience building data visualizations using business intelligence, analytic or enterprise-level reporting tools.
Two (2) years of experience performing data extraction of large, complex data sets leveraging SQL.
Experience developing technical product documentation needed to promote a solution into production use.
Experience providing production support for analytic solutions, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and occasional overtime is required.
Ability to simultaneously contribute to two or more projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment with excellent attention to detail.
Superior analytical, problem-solving, research and decision-making skills.
Adept in written communication, task prioritization and customer service.
Willingness to address issues and take ownership, knowing when and how to escalate.
Ability to work independently and/or with a team in a collaborative environment.
Comfortable working with autonomy requiring periodic supervision.
Data, reporting, or analytics experience in the healthcare delivery, health insurance, or medical utilization.
Demonstrated experience working with large, complex, relational or multi-dimensional data warehouses.
Knowledge of and/or experience with Application Lifecycle Management methods including project management, user story development, requirements gathering, and quality assurance/testing.
Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar products, SSIS, and SSAS.
Experience working in an Agile Development environment.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Positions on the Epic Analytics Application Development team require Epic Clarity Data Model certification within six months of employee start date.
Valid driver's license - If driving Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and MVR must be approved by Risk Management.

TDWI Certified Business Intelligence Professional
Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar, Caboodle, or other Epic Data/Analytic Certifications
