JOB DETAILS: Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: M-F 8-5 | On Call: NO
JOB SUMMARY: Theposition coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Enterprise PortfolioManagement Office (EPMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organizationgoals and requirements. Enacts EPMO processes and policies to ensureconsistency and standardization.
Thisposition relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan andaccomplish routine assignments using existing procedures. Such assignmentsinclude preparing communications, making presentations, interacting withoperational leaders, taking notes, receiving guidance and direction fromothers, and representing the EPMO. The person filling this position hasconceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures or portfolioprogram management, typically acquired through a college university degree or theequivalent work experience.
Thisposition is considered entry level to a professional career progression towardsbecoming a Project Manager. This position reports to the EPMO Director.
EDUCATION: Preferred:
Bachelordegree; or an Associate's degree with 2 or more years' experience in aprofessional business environment
EXPERIENCE: Required:
3 to5 years administrative support experience within a professional businessenvironment and/or academic setting.
Experiencein organizing and overseeing operational performance improvement projectsindependently. Experience in coordinating meetings, travel, and calendars.Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), andAdobe Acrobat Pro. Experience in event planning and coordination.
Preferred:
Experiencein a healthcare setting. Experience in a Project Management Office or PortfolioManagement Office. Experience in curriculum design or change management.Experience with SharePoint. Experience in customer service recovery.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIRED
Ableto independently design professional presentations suited for the c-suiteaudience using a high level of technology skills. Able to research assignedtopics and develop materials aligned with the topic.
PREFERRED
Ableto demonstrate critical thinking. Able to show examples of being highlyorganized.
