Exempt: Yes | FTE: 0.8 (32 hours/week) | Schedule: weekdays, weekends when needed, department holidays rotating | On Call: YESJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supervision and patient care management for a select program and/or a defined workgroup. Identifies and accomplishes program goals and outcomes. Maintains regulatory and professional standards/requirements. Supports and maintains a cost effective, progressive and customer-focused service. This role will provide leadership in the areas of training, clinical oversight, completion of competencies and acts as a resource to management in daily operations.
EDUCATION: Bachelors, Nursing, Required
Master's Degree, preferred in Nursing. Master's Degree in a health related field with certification in a nursing specialty will be considered in lieu of a Masters in Nursing.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in specialty area required. Three (3) years as RN preferred.
RN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
Certification in a clinical specialty as defined by National Certification requirements is required within two (2) years of hire into RN Specialty Coordinator position.PREFERRED
ACLS | Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
PALS | Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Advanced Trauma Life Support ( ATLS) preferred.
