Required: Bachelors Degree <\/font><\/span><\/p>

Preferred: Masters Degree

EXPERIENCE<\/b>:<\/span>
1 year of practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING-REQUIRED<\/b>:<\/span>
AHA Health Care Provider BLS<\/font><\/span><\/p>

Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC required.<\/font><\/p>

DEA License required.<\/font><\/p>

MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES<\/b>:<\/span>

Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, coworkers <\/font>and referring physicians. 17 %<\/span><\/p>

Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of <\/font>care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate. 17 %<\/span><\/p>

Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, <\/font>and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care. 17 %<\/span><\/p>

Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and <\/font>nursing questions. 17 %<\/span><\/p>

Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data. 17 %<\/font><\/p>

Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate <\/font>patient care. 15 %<\/span><\/p>
