JOB SUMMARY Triad Internal Medicine Associates (TIMA) is seeking a quality-driven NP or PA to join a growing team. Triad Internal Medicine Associates has been providing care to the medical community since 1998 and joined Cone Health in 2016. TIMA has an On-Site lab, treats chronic illnesses and promotes preventative medicine, knowledge of common ancillary procedures : spirometry, suturing, dexascan/osteoporosis, EKG, etc. Triad Internal Medicine Assoc offers traditional care or integrative medicine for a more holistic approach, or combination of the two for their patients. At TIMA we have a family atmosphere and wellness focused caring staff. Position is part-time with benefits , 2.5 days per week, 20 hours. Currently (1) MD and (1) FNP providing safe and effective evidence-based patient care. Will participate in a call group that is currently 1:5 CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT * Annual flu shot * Annual TB test (if applicable to your job location) * Annual HLCs (Healthstream, formerly CBL)-Safety at Work and Corporate Compliance * Maintain licensure/certification/registry/listing EDUCATION Masters Degree in Nursing or Physician Assisting required.
EXPERIENCE 1 year of practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING-REQUIRED Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC required. DEA License required. BLS (CPR) AHA Health Care Provider BLS MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, coworkers and referring physicians. 17 % Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate. 17 % Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care. 17 % Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions. 17 % Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data. 17 % Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care. 15 %
