Performs various vascular ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the chief technical sonographer.
Delivers excellent customer service utilizing Relationship Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients/families and colleagues, including all internal and external customers.
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:
Performs all vascular examinations completely with good diagnostic quality in a timely manner. 40%
Analyze test data accurately. Communicates findings to reading vascular physician in verbal and written form. 30%
• perates, troubleshoots, and appropriately requests repair of testing equipment in a safe, appropriate, and knowledgeable manner. 10%
Maintains skills for all current procedures performed. Learns new skills and procedures as changes occur. 10%
Maintains CPR certification. 10%

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Hazardous waste and/or toxic/caustic chemicals

Additional information on working conditions:
Ability to perform light physical work, such as sitting, standing, walking and occasionally lifting/carrying objects weighing 10-20 pounds.
Ability to perform moderate physical work, such as pushing a 440 lb. ultrasound machine, moving patient beds and chairs, transferring patients from beds to wheelchair.
