Medical
Cone Health is pleased to offer three comprehensive medical plans administered by Aetna. These options provide varied premiums, deductibles and copayments so you can select one that best fits your family and lifestyle.
The three plans are Traditional, Save and Focus.
When you select a Cone Health medical plan, it includes a prescription medication benefit. You can leverage home delivery services, specialty services and take part in our Diabetes Pharmacy Benefit & Rewards Program.
Dental
Cone Health’s dental benefits include basic and major dental options. Basic Dental covers cleanings and restorative care. Major Dental covers those and major restorative items as well as orthodontics.
HSA and FSA
Cone Health offers both Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). FSAs are tax-exempt and the money can be used for health or dependent-care expenses. HSAs are tax-exempt accounts like IRAs but designated for medical expenses.
Vision
Community Eye Care (CEC) is Cone Health’s vision benefits administrator. We offer two plans, one with an eye exam and one without. Eye exams are included with your Cone Health medical plan, if elected.
Virtual Care
Our virtual care benefits offer convenient access to medical and mental health providers. All care is confidential and secure.
Care Anytime connects you with a board-certified provider by way of your smartphone, computer or tablet using a secure connection. If you need a prescription, it'll be sent electronically to your pharmacy.
MyChart e-Visits are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for NC/VA team members with minor illnesses or conditions.
Talkspace brings you convenient, personal and professional online messaging therapy. With Talkspace, you can send text, audio and video messages to your licensed therapist anytime, anywhere.

Virtual Care for COVID+ Team Members
- MyChart E-Visit: Age 18+. COVID E-visits are $0 for CHOICE and FOCUS members and $35 before deductible for SAVE plan members. Choose this option to communicate with a Cone Health Provider today and learn about isolation instructions, home management, symptom care, treatment options (NOT including Antiviral Therapy), warning signs to look out for, and when to seek help.
- MyChart Virtual Urgent Care Visits: Age 8+. Select this option if you would like to discuss ALL treatment options with a Cone Health Provider. If your symptoms started less than 5 days ago, you may be eligible for FDA-approved Antiviral Therapy. Same-day Virtual Urgent Care Visits (no appointment needed) are available 365 days/year from 8A-8P. These visits are billed to your insurance.
