JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | On Call: No

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing and Communications Specialist serves as day-to-day contact with specific client groups. The Marketing and Communications Specialist works with clients to identify marketing and communications opportunities, works with Marketing Manager to develop overall marketing and communications strategies, translates these strategies into plans and develops and collaborates with graphic designers, photographers and other partners to execute tactics identified in the plans. Client groups include department leaders, hospital administration and others in the organization.
The Communications Specialist will primarily support the work of the External Communications Manager and share media call every other week.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors, Marketing , Required

Required: Would also consider Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Business.

EXPERIENCE:

5 Years, Required

Required: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including writing experience.
Idealcandidates will possess:
Strong writingskills
Ability touncover and write compelling stories.
Understandingof how media works and have a nose for news.
Ability towork autonomously
Ability toshoot and edit photos and videos.
Familiaritywith Adobe Premiere a plus.
