LOCATION: LeBauer Pulmonary Care, LB-Pulmonary Office
CITY: Greensboro
JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm | On Call: NO
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the MD/APP, provides high quality patient care using a team based approach working with other disciplines in the physician office- setting. Uses clinical knowledge and skills to provide care to newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations across the health care continuum.
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required for LPNs: Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program
Preferred: Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assistant Program
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: CMA/LPN have 1+ year physician office experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required for LPN's:
LPN | Licensed Practical Nurse
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Required for CMA's:
Current and active certification as a medical assistant by one of the following: American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (RMA), National Healthcare Worker's Association (NHCWA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), National Registry of Medical Assistants (NRMA).
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
