LOCATION: Moses Cone Hospital, MHC - Administrative IP Rehab
CITY: Greensboro, NC

JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No | FTE: 0.3 (12 hours/week) | Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | On Call: No

JOB SUMMARY:

This position manages the internal referral and admissions system for the Rehabilitation Continuum, including ongoing evaluation of the admission process. Develops and maintains positive public relations with referral sources and promotes the rehabilitation continuum through education and marketing activities. This position serves the following patient age categories: adult and geriatrics.

EDUCATION:

Masters, Preferred
Graduate of RN education program and Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
OR
Baccalaureate level education in Physical Therapy
OR
Baccalaureate level education in Occupational therapy is required or Master's level education in Speech/Language Pathology or qualifications deemed by the NCBOE for Speech.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years of clinical experience required. RNs: Case management and/or admissions experience preferred;
PTs/OTs/SLPs: Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Required:
Drivers License | Valid Drivers License
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Must maintain licensure without lapse appropriate to clinical background:
Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or
Current licensure by the NC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or
Current licensure by the NC Board of Occupational Therapy or Current licensure by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech Pathologists AND Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
