Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) II, is a title for experienced professionals in the Clinical Research Coordinator Family. CRC's II's, perform a full range of clinical research duties and have a working knowledge of the clinical research process and the regulations that govern it. They function under the Principal Investigator's medical license and cannot perform any tasks that by state or local law require a license to perform. They perform progressively more complex and comprehensive clinical research duties at an ever-increasing level of independence, working closely with the Principal Investigator. They work under supervision, but with more autonomy than a Clinical Research Coordinator I; and may supervise some staff.EDUCATION:
Completion of an allied health degree (e.g., Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Licensed Practical Nurse) or Associate's degree in Clinical Trials Research related curriculum plus a minimum of five years of clinical research experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field plus three years of clinical research experience (related graduate degree may substitute for two years of experience.)LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Obtain Good Clinical Practice certification within 30 days of hire and maintain without lapse.
Obtain Human Subjects Research certification within 30 days of hire and maintain without lapse.
Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and/or Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) is preferred.
