JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring aCertified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse!

The CertifiedMedical Assistant and/or LPN provides team-based patient care. They providesupport to nursing, lab, clerical, and Physician staff in order to facilitatepositive patient outcomes. Clinical knowledge and skills relate to newborn,pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The CMA's work underthe direction of the Physician and the LPNs work under the direction of the RNor Physician.

**Participation in aClinical Orientation and Competency Evaluation, and ability to pass a ClinicalSkills Assessment and Medication Administration test within ninety (90) days ofhire, and within 3 attempts.**

EDUCATION:
Required: HighSchool Diploma or equivalent
Required for LPNs:Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program
Preferred:Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assistant Program

EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: CMA/LPNhave 1+ year physician office experience

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required for LPN's:
LPN | LicensedPractical Nurse
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider

Required for CMA's:
Current and activecertification as a medical assistant by one of the following: AmericanAssociate of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT),National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National HealthcareerAssociation (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (RMA), NationalHealthcare Worker's Association (NHCWA), National Association for HealthProfessionals (NAHP), National Registry of Medical Assistants (NRMA).

BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
