LOCATION: CHAPSBuilding, THNM-Quality Informatics
CITY: Greensboro

JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: M-F 8-5 | On Call: NO

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director, Informatics will utilize healthcareeconomics methodologies to monitor programs, quantify program success as wellas return on investment and drive the creation of improvement plans whennecessary. The Director will evaluate program effectiveness and sustainabilityand will report progress using defined metrics. The Director will beresponsible for developing and monitoring key performance indicators to be usedinternally as well as provider facing reporting. The KPIs will be metrics thatwill help drive performance against THN risk agreements. The KPIs may come fromanalytics tools offered by THN or health plans provided tools and data. TheDirector will collaborate with department leads to specify which data source touse for reporting purposes and will ensure that the source is usedconsistently.

This position will mentor the teams on how to prepare the actionplans and check progress to ensure the action plans are on track. These KPIsand Action Plans will be used for reporting purposes in JOCs and internal touchpoints. The Director will ensure a consistent look and feel for reporting thatis consistent throughout the measurement period. The Director may be asked toparticipate in the JOCs and may be required to report on specific metrics.

Works collaboratively with Risk Adjustment, Quality and PracticePerformance departments on initiatives and is responsible for developing KPIsand providing project management resources. Highlights positive outcomes thatallow THN to celebrate and publish success stories.

Provides Project Management support to Health Plan Performanceinitiatives and departments. Directly supervises the Quality Informatics Teamas well as Project Management staff for multiple departments.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Master's degree.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5+ years health care experience in Health CareAnalytics/Economics
Preferred: 2 years Health Plan Quality Measurement. Health CareExperience, preferably Medicare Advantage. Experience with Cost and UtilizationManagement
Risk Adjustment Experience Required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Valid Driver's license
