JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. | On Call: NO

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the MD/APP, provides high quality patient care using a team based approach working with other disciplines in the physician office- setting. Uses clinical knowledge and skills to provide care to newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations across the health care continuum.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
LPN - Graduate from a formal LPN education or CMA/RMA - Graduate from formal CMA/RMA program (preferred) or CMA/RMA

EXPERIENCE:

Preferred: 1 year in a clinical setting

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

REQUIRED
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
LPN - Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.
or
CMA/RMA - Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant by one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), OR National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Maintain a current and continuous CMA certification.
