Delivers exceptional medical physics and radiation safety leadership to all internal and external customers utilizing best practices, nationally recognized standards, and regulations in a manner that ensures the highest level of safety, quality patient care, and regulatory compliance. Initiates, coordinates, and develops ongoing programs to provide state-of-the art applications in Radiation Oncology. Supervises the activities of the Physicists and the Dosimetrists.EDUCATION:
Required: Doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field with additional training or experience in Medical PhysicsEXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum of 2 years working as an independently functioning medical physicist.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Drivers License | Valid Drivers License
Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Certification must be maintained throughout employment.
