LOCATION: Cone Health, SW-Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
CITY: Greensboro

JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: Yes | FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: 8a-5p | On Call: NO

JOB SUMMARY:
The position coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. Enacts EPMO processes and policies to ensure consistency and standardization. This position relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish routine assignments using existing procedures. Such assignments include preparing communications, making presentations, interacting with operational leaders, taking notes, receiving guidance and direction from others, and representing the EPMO. The person filling this position has conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures or portfolio program management, typically acquired through a college university degree or the equivalent work experience. This position is considered entry level to a professional career progression towards becoming a Project Manager. This position reports to the EPMO Director.

EDUCATION:
Preferred: Bachelor degree; or an Associate's degree with 1 to 2 years of experience in a professional business environment.

EXPERIENCE:

Required:
3 to 5 years administrative support experience within a professional business environment and/or academic setting. Experience in organizing and overseeing operational performance improvement projects independently. Experience in coordinating meetings, travel, and calendars. Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience in event planning and coordination.
Preferred:
Experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in a Project Management Office or Portfolio Management Office. Experience in curriculum design or change management. Experience with SharePoint. Experience in customer service recovery.
