This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities. A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service. This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing Molecular Imaging procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Technologists in this position are able to demonstrate full knowledge of Molecular Imaging equipment. Molecular Imaging Technologists are authorized to handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with radiology processes and procedures. Competencies are completed through the Radiology department. EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program. EXPERIENCE:
0-1 year, Healthcare - Molecular Imaging Technologist, Required
1-2 years, Healthcare - Molecular Imaging Technologist, Preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
CNMT (NMTCB) | Cert Nuclear Med Tech
Will accept either CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N). Must have required credentials and maintain at all times.
