Outreach Educator is responsible for providing a wide array of educational programs aimed at public awareness and prevention focused on slowing the infection rate of HIV/AIDS, Syphilis and Hepatitis C in Alamance, Caswell and Rockingham counties. Activities include outreach for testing, providing information on HIV/AIDS, Syphilis and Hepatitis C and miscellaneous administrative duties. Work collaboratively with all county/surrounding county agencies/organizations involved in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
Outreach educator must be able to work occasionally outside of 8:00 am-5:00 pm hours.
Bachelor of Science Degree
Two years of experience working with HIV/AIDS or relevant area
Phlebotomy training and NC certification in blood borne pathogens
Drivers License - Valid Drivers License
