Job Description

LOCATION<\/font><\/b>: MedCenter High Point<\/font>

Exempt: Yes | <\/font>FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) | Schedule: <\/font>M-F, days | <\/font>On Call: <\/font>NO

The Director of Ambulatory Imaging Services is accountable for the operations and coordination of <\/span><\/font>ambulatory imaging services at MedCenter Kernersville, MedCenter High Point, MedCenter Mebane, and <\/span>MedCenter Drawbridge. <\/span><\/font>The Director of Ambulatory Imaging Services works closely with the Executive Director of Ambulatory <\/span>Services, the Executive Director of Imaging Services, and site-specific leaders to plan, develop, implement <\/span>and evaluate ambulatory imaging services which are effective, efficient, and customer focused. The Director <\/span>should use innovative practices and principles to bring top docile performance in all relevant functions across <\/span>the network of ambulatory imaging services.<\/span><\/p>


Required: Master's degree in business, healthcare administration or degree in progress with defined <\/span><\/font>graduation date will be considered.<\/span><\/p>

Preferred: Completed accredited Imaging Program and current registry in related modality by American <\/span><\/font>Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other licensing body.<\/span><\/p>


All candidates: A minimum of four years experience managing and supervising an imaging facility and/or <\/span><\/font>comparable.<\/span><\/p>

Required: 4-5 years of progressively responsible leadership and administrative experience in a healthcare <\/span><\/font>setting.<\/span><\/p>

Preferred: 3-4 years of progressively responsible leadership and administrative experience in a healthcare <\/span><\/font>setting with experience as an imaging technologist.<\/span><\/p>

Preferred experience: Demonstrated competencies in healthcare operations management, budget/finance <\/span><\/font>management, operations experience, marketing experience, quality and process improvement management,<\/span><\/p>

regulatory, strategic planning, retail experience, Data analytics, IT/EMR experience, change management and <\/span><\/font>insurance verification/billing.<\/span><\/p>

Other leadership competencies include: talent development, change management, employee and physician <\/span><\/font>engagement, patient experience, relationship builder and negotiation/influence.<\/span><\/p>


Preferred: Credentialed in a relevant field of radiologic technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic <\/span><\/font>Technologists (ARRT).<\/span><\/p>

Required: Valid Driver's License<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>
